Eurotrip ’25 Pt.3 - Capturing the Magic: Street Photography at Disneyland Paris

The final part of our trip takes place in Paris. Not just any area of Paris though, a very special part.

We left our hotel in Senlis very early in the morning, missing out on the breakfast which the reviews raved about, but a necessary sacrifice in order to make good time. We drove for an hour and got to our destination. We were, of coarse, heading to Disneyland.

The last time I set foot in any kind of Disney Park would have been a good 25+ years a go. Would it be the same? Would it still live up to the hype all those years later? Although our main priority was enjoying a family holiday, my side mission was to get all the photographs I could in the 3 days we had there. And that’s what you’re about to see! So settle in and enjoy a few of my favourites from the time we spent there.

The first day was the best, by far. Not only did we have the most energy (despite the 4am start), but the park was it’s quietest. We’d somehow planned our stay over the weekend of the park’s 33rd Birthday, not something we did intentionally but it also meant that the real fanatics would be taking the park by storm over the following 2 days.

As we arrived so early, the entire place was practically empty and the sunrise was creating some amazing light over the various hotels, shops and of coarse the castle. So as we took our time to get our bearings and planning out what to do first, I snapped away on the details which caught my eye. Regular readers will already know, but I was using the Fujifilm X-A1 once again, with the TTArtisans 27mm AF lens. My perfect pocketable combo for this kind of trip.

I got most of my photos on day one, the rest of the time I just enjoyed with my family. So have a look at some of these personal favourites covering the park and some areas around our hotel. You’ll find these (and probably a whole bunch more) over on my instagram side project so follow me over there for almost daily posts. Thanks for reading!
