Street Photography in Rotterdam with the Fujifilm X-A1

Rotterdam is very different to any city I've been to before, and I mean in a really good way. It has a huge amount of history which is why it is the way it looks today, with a fantastic mix of old and new styles of architecture. Traditional dutch buildings are tucked between larger, more modern structures and this mix of the two provided a kind of contrast which is hard to capture anywhere else.

I spent a few hours there in December last year, obviously with visiting during that time of year, the weather isn't likely to be on my side. But given how I'd bee so lucky recently, it was about time I had the challenge of wind and rain to go up against.

I spent my time on foot, walking from the train station, through the centre, via some good coffee of course, and meandered my way towards their landmark bridge (Erasmus), taking plenty of photos on the way.

Here are a few of my favourites, all shot with the Fujifilm X-A1, I also made a video about this little trip which you can watch right here. Check them both out and thanks for checking in!
