Last weekend I went with Ben from LMS Films to pick up his latest bit of gear. He managed to get his hands on a RED Epic cinema camera with EF mount, it will be used as his main camera for future projects and naturally, we had a little bit of a play with it.

Every week you'll find the guys from Collide meeting up in various places. Last week I joined one of the quieter meetings for a catch up and to get a few shots. There are so many people joining the club now we're always meeting new people, and with show season starting up again I'm looking forward to what this year has in store for the guys.

Gymkhana Grid 2015
It's been 3 years since I went to a Gymkhana event and in that time there have been a few new names and cars in the game. Most notably Ken Blocks Ford Mustang and his most recent addition, the Ford Escort released earlier this month. Needless to say I was excited to see these in the flesh and despite all the rain it was worth it.

After spotting Adz and his Golf around town and at a couple of the local Collide meets I finally got chance to meet him and set up a shoot. His bright blue wheels stood out from a mile off and are bound to get him noticed wherever he goes, so it made sense to focus on this in the photos.
Read MoreRoadtrip to Cornwall: Part 1
When I was in school I used to visit my family in Cornwall every single summer. I'd go to all the beaches and sea-side towns, climb rocks, swim in the sea and explore the rock-pools. As I finished school and life progressed the summer visits stopped, and after years and years of neglect it was finally time to make the trip back.

Ultimate Street Car 2015 was amazing this year, I'm so glad I got to go and can't thank the guys (and girls) from Collide enough who invited me down to Santa Pod for the weekend. Having never been to a car show for longer than a day, let alone camped there I was excited and quickly bought everything I might need to survive over the 3 days.

We love our woodland hikes over here in the UK. There's nothing quite like a quiet walk through the trees, keeping your eyes peeled for a peek at the elusive wildlife and of course, getting a few photos along the way. I recently took advantage of the recent good weather and visited Wakerely Woods a few days a go.
Read MoreQuattro
Whilst helping my friends over at Last Man Standing shoot a scene for their latest music video we came across some very interesting cars. This gorgeous A5 quattro will star in the video (along with my own VW making a quick cameo) and I was able to get a few quick shots before we totally ran out of sunlight.

Epsilon Ensign Selfix 16-20 75mm - The latest vintage camera added to my collection. This was found in an antique store up Steep Hill in Lincoln just before Easter, it was amongst a host of others which I would one day like to own but it really stood out to me with its folding lens. It's found pride of place on my office windowsill for now until I can get hold of some film and give it a test. Taken with my Canon 5D, 50mm at f1.4.
Read MoreStamford Fair
Stamford Fair came and went again last week and brought with it the perfect excuse to go out and take some pictures. It took over the entire town covering most of the major roads and flowed all of the way down to the Meadows. We spent the evening walking around the whole fair looking for a nice spot to capture the atmosphere and settled on the bridge overlooking some of the larger rides.
Read MoreTu Amore
I was lucky enough to shoot a private session with Tu Amore alongside my friends at Last Man Standing before they disbanded recently. Although this image doesn't really say much or even show who the band are I feel like it sets the scene. It was a really layed back afternoon, the guys formed together in a circle inside a small storage unit in Peterborough and just jammed.
Read MoreWinter Weddings
In my short time as a photographer I have been very fortunate to shoot a handful of weddings and this was one of my favourites. James and Jodie got married early November at the historic George Hotel in Stamford.

This was one of my favourite shoots for SlamMedia. To really show off the car's size and custom features we took it to an underpass in Peterborough. We parked the Yaris dead centre and used the ceiling lights as a point of perspective, as it was Autumn there were a tonne of leaves everywhere so we bunched them up around the car to add some colour.
Read MoreKuredu - Maldives
Back in 2012 I travelled to a small island in the Indian Ocean. One of many islands in this area of the world, our island, Kuredu was beautiful, peaceful and a true paradise experience. During our stay we went on many excursions and adventures visiting local towns, spotting wild Manta's and swimming with all manner of sea-life in clear blue waters with beautiful coral reefs.

Vaughn Gittin, Jr. tears it up at the Gymghana Championships. Getting to see these guys compete at Santa Pod was amazing, we were up close and personal with the tyre screeching and the burnt rubber, there really isn't anything like it. I shot a good set that day using my Canon 550D with and old 70-130mm. This performed well for the action shots and provided me with plenty of motion blur whilst keeping focus on the cars. For the stationary shots I used the faithful 50mm to get a little bit of bokeh and a nice vignette.
