We love our woodland hikes over here in the UK. There's nothing quite like a quiet walk through the trees, keeping your eyes peeled for a peek at the elusive wildlife and of course, getting a few photos along the way. I recently took advantage of the recent good weather and visited Wakerely Woods a few days a go. Having never been before I was pleasantly surprised by the choice of routes to walk, cycle or even travel on horseback, we opted for the 3 mile walk taking us through various types of trees and woodland. I got a lot of really nice shots but the one above was my favourite, it also really stood out to me as this was the only bright orange leaf we came across on our travels. Baring in mind we are now on the other half of summer, I found it strange that this would still be around. Either way we took the opportunity to photograph it in Morgan's hand against the path and the lush greenery alongside us. I felt like it summed up the trip nicely.
I've collected quite a few extra shots, including one or two possible contenders for my new series of free wallpaper giveaways I have coming up, more details of that soon.
If you have an upcoming project with some photo opportunities then I'd love to get involved. I strongly recommend that you contact me on the form located here or email me at hi@jamietakes.photos and I would be more then happy to discuss it with you. Until then, enjoy the rest of the summer.
