In my short time as a photographer I have been very fortunate to shoot a handful of weddings and this was one of my favourites. James and Jodie got married early November at the historic George Hotel in Stamford. This location has so many little spots hidden away which made for some great photos. This particular frame was taken with my 5D using the 50mm f1.4. I love how the 5D captures skin tones and the greens in the leaves. The natural grain is something that the newer cameras don't quite achieve and I like that. I would easily recommend this camera to someone looking to pick up their first full frame sensor DSLR.
However I think it's the Bride and Groom that really make this image, James was looking extremely smart in his RAF gear and Jodie looked gorgeous. It recently got an email to say that they had some of the photos printed onto canvas to hang up in their new home. These are the best kinds of complements for me, I wish the both of them all the best for their future together.
